Matches and Leagues
What sort of attendance can I expect?
These are approximate figures for attendance.
Friendly League 40-50
Friendly 350-600
League 8,000+
Some league games can be higher than 8,000. The attendance is based on your winning streak, your opponents winning streak, the division the teams are in, position in league for both teams, the game type, and finally some chance. The rank has no effect at all. For instance, the higher attendance of about 500-600 in friendly will be for two teams in a high division with a winning streak In league games attendance of 12,000 is possible for some of the top teams in the upper leagues. Only in Cup games can you expect attendances of 20,000 or more.
[fab] Attendance of 650 in a friendly league has been witnessed.

Do I get money in home and away games ?
When playing Friendly Leagues, Friendlies and League games you ONLY get money if your team is playing at home. The matches in the league normally switch so that you toggle between home and away game BUT sometimes you may get two back to back home or away games. So check the matches schedule in advance to you don't get financial caught out by over-committing yourself thinking you have a home game next.
Cup games are the exception where both home and away team get money from ticket sales. Only the home team however gets income from facilities.
What do you get for doing well in a league?
When the league is over, the top 3 teams with managers in a division are given prizes. The table below is an indication of how much – it may change next year. Note that this is for the top 3 humanly controlled teams. So you may still get a prize if your team wasn’t in the top 3 but the some of the other teams above you were computer controlled.

In addition to the prize, the 1st place holders get a division cup.
You don't get anything if you have the top score in your division.
What happens at the end of league?
There is a break of a week before another league starts. So there are no weekend matches. During that break, the top 3 teams in every division are given prizes.
The winner in each division is promoted (except in premier division). The three last place teams are relegated.
When the league restarts it is random whether you will play a home or an away game. Consequently, if you are unlucky, you will have to cope with not having the revenue of a league match for up to 3 weeks in a row. (i.e. last weeks game is away, one weekend break, first game of the league is also away.) Plan ahead.
What are friendly leagues and how do they effect my rank ?
Friendly leagues are leagues whose results don’t influence your team. Although there is a little bit of income the main purpose of these is for fun and a chance to play around with different formations without messing up your rank and form.
Here are some key points on a friendly league game:
- Match results does not influence your rank
- Matches do not affect players form. Consequently, it is ok to play “Tired” players.
- Injuries sustained in a match only affect that match. After the match your player will be in the same state as before the match
- A Red card only affect the player playing in the next match of the same friendly league.
- The winner of a friendly league game gets to keep a cup.
- Attendance in friendly league games are very small – around 40-50 people
- You only get revenue from the first 5 home friendly league games in a week
- You can play as many friendly leagues as you want, they don't affect your ability to play normal friendly games
I want to join a friendly league, how do I join ?
You need to be invited to a friendly league. If you do get invited, the "Friendly series" button lights up (that is the one next to the one between the thumb button and the live button on the main screen).
Games Delayed – what does it mean ?
Sometimes games are delayed. This often due to server load or malfunction. Delayed games will get played – just be patient.
Why cant I play friendly games on Saturday or Sunday ?
League games are played during the weekend.
How long does a match take ?
A match takes 20 minutes. So if you had a game at 7:00, the match result will be available at 7:20. Statistics for the match come some time later depending on server load. As much as several hours. You can find out a match result quicker than 20 minutes if you use the Analyser.
How many divisions are there?
England has 6 divisions. In Sweden there are 8 divisions. It varies from country to country.
Premier Division: 1 league. Division 1: 3 leagues. Division 2: 9 leagues. Division 3:27 leagues. Division 4: 81 leagues. Division 5: 243 leagues. Division 6: 729 leagues. Division 7: 2187 leagues. Division 8: 6561 leagues.
For example division 1 has Div 1.1, Div 1.2 and Div 1.3. All these division are at the same level so Div 1.1 isn’t any better than Div 1.3.
The winner in each division is promoted (except in premier division). The three last place teams are relegated.
Can I give money, players or any other stuff as the prize to my own friendly league?
No, u can’t. If you try to do so you may get banned.
Is there any advantage to playing home or away?
Other than the income you get for playing a home game, you also get a general advantage playing home. It is not untypical when two closely matched teams play that the both loose away and win at home.
I've been offered a home and away friendly game, do I need to accept the away game?
No you don’t need to accept the away game. However, by not accepting the away game you are depriving another club of some revenue. Doing so will quickly get you a bad reputation and you may find it increasingly difficult to get invites. Remember also there is a total of 10 friendly games a week but you only get money from the first 5 home games. Consequently, it just doesn’t make any sense not to accept the away game.
How many games can I play a week ?
You can play:
- Up to 10 friendly games a week but you can only get income from the first 5 home games.
- Unlimited (near enough) friendly league games but you can only get income from the first 5 home games.
- One league game.
- Cup games – however many leagues you are in.
How long is a season ?
A season is 15 weeks; 14 league matches and 1 week break.
Can I take remove a challenge ?
If the challenge has not been accepted, then you can go to the "Challenge button" and click the dustbin to cancel the challenge.
Can I cancel a booked match ?
No, you cant.
Noticed some really peculiar match results, is something wrong ?

Crew have generated some results for new leagues instead of actually playing the matches. This way it saves on resources so the site isn't slowed down, the other matches (i.e. yours) won't get delayed as a result of these new leagues being added, etc.
Also it makes it fairer, as before new managers have joined only to find themselves in relegation trouble and unable to do much, this gives them a fairer chance at survival, and as all the teams will be equal, they even have a chance at the title.
